WE BELIEVE IN God the Father We believe in God who is the first Person of the Holy Trinity; Creator and Owner of Heaven and earth and all that is created. Genesis 1:1; Psalm 24:1-2. God the Son We believe in God the Son who is the second Person of the Holy Trinity. We believe Him to be Messiah; the Anointed One whom the Holy Scripturs predicted His coming. We believe that He finally came and was proved with great power to be the Son of God. He was arrested, condemned, crucified on the cross and died. He was burried in the tomb but was raised from the dead by the glory of God to live eternally again. He was lifted up into heaven and is sitted at the right hand of God the Father where He is for ever praying for us. We also believe that He will come back to take His bride; the church without spot or wrinkle. Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 3:17; Acts 3:13-15; 1Thessalonians 4:15-16 God the Holy Spirit We believe in God the Holy Spirit who is the third Person of the Holy Trinity. We believe that He is the Author of the Holy Scriptures We believe that He was sent to be our Comforter, our Counselor, our Helper, our Advocate, our Intercessor, our Strengthener and our Teacher. John 14:16, 26; 15:16 (Amp); John 16:13 The Holy Scriptures We believe that the bible is the Word of God. We accept it as the final authority for doctrine and instructuon. We believe that it was written as God inspired holy men and they spoke and wrote. 2Timothy 3:16; 2Peter 1:20-21 The Fall of Man We believe that God created man for communion with him. That man fell when tempted by Satan and as such sin entered the world. That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Genesis 1:26-28; 3:8-10; 23-24; Romans 3:23 Salvation of Mankind We believe that salvation is a gift from God - not of works, lest man should boast. we believe that when we confessour sins God is faithful and just to forgive us all our sins. Salvation is only received through faith in Jesus Christ to produce works acceptable to God. Romans 10:9-12; Ephesians 2:8-9 Water Baptism We believe that water baptism is only for believers in Christ and it is ministered through complete emersion - the whole body beng covered with water. We beleve it symbolize the fact that, as Jesus Christ died and was buried, so are we in baptism. As Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, so arewe also raised together with Him to live in the newnss of life. Matthew 3:11; Romans 6:4; Colosians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39; Acts 2:38-41 Baptism in the Holy Spirit We believe that baptim in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God promised by Christ in this dispensation of grace. this experience is subsiquent to new birth and is followed by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Matthew 3:1; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 8:14:17 Divine Healing We believe that healing is for today and can be received by everyone who believes that Christ purchased and paid fr our healing on the cross of Calvary. Healing can be ministered through the laying on of hands releasing faith to receive. It is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith. Isaiah 53:4-5; Mark 16:17-18.   The Lord's Supper We believe in the Lord's Supper partook in remembrance of Christ. The bread symbolizes His body which was broken for us. The cup symbolizes the new covenant in His blood. We believe that as often as we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim the Lord's death til He comes. Luke 22:19-20; 1Corinthians 11:23-26 Fellowship of Believers We believe in fellowship of believers. We believe that believers should fellowship with other believers in their local church and the universal body of Christ as well. Acts 2:42 Church Membership We believe that every believer should have membership to a local church where he or she can be responsible and accountable. We discourage floating believers with no church affilliation. Ephesians 2:9-22; Hebrews 10:24-25 Tithes and Offerings We believe that tithes and offerings is a responsibiliy of every believer and should be offered as a sigh of one's love and obedience to God our Father, one's faith and trust in His provision and one's faithfulness in stewardship. Numbe 8:20-21; Malachi 3:10 The Great Commission We believe that every believer in Jesus Christ is called to the ministry of reconcilliation. We believe that it is the responsibility of this Ministry as a body of Christ to take the good news about our Lord Jesus Christ to the world. Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 28:18-20 The Teaching of the Word We accept the responsibility of the teachng of the Word of God. We will engage ourselves in this ministry to teach and preach the living Word, equipping the body of Christ for the work of the ministry.

VISION AND MISSION VISION The Ministry   Pool of Life Ministries International is a church-planting ministry. The ministry is planting Pool of Life Churches. The Church Pool of Life Church is a home of love and development centre where people realize a meaningful relationship with God and become Disciples of Christ. MISSION STATEMENT The Ministry will go out and look for the lost sheep wherever the Holy Spirit leads. It will arrange them into a flock and establish a sheepfold under the name Pool of Life Church. The Ministry will provide leadership while local leadership is developed to shepherd the flock.
